serial #3413969, 30-06, 24" barrel with a fine bore. This rifle has a 3-44 dated barrel and retains 98% original parkerizing on the barrel, receiver, triggerguard, and scope mount; a commensurate amount of original blue on the bolt and magazine cut-off. The scant grip stock and handguard have an added military oil finish over scattered handling marks, mostly along the left side at the receiver, and a well defined Springfield Armory postwar rebuild mark on the left side of the butt. The mounted M84 scope has a crisp post and line reticle and clear optics but is currently missing the eye cup.
