serial #2047SA, 45 LC, 5 1/2" barrel with a bright excellent bore. This Post World War II first year of manufacture revolver (1956) is in excellent condition and includes its original hinge top black cardboard box and papers. The frame retains all of its strong original color case hardening except for a short very faint scratch below the recoil shield on the left side. This scratch is barely noticeable and would not be worth mentioning, if it were not for the condition and age of this revolver. The remaining metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish with the only loss due to very light drag line on cylinder and a couple similarly light scratches between the cylinder flutes. The checkered hard rubber grips are numbered to the revolver and rate excellent. The box rates near excellent with some light damage internally caused by the revolver. (2027-139) {C&R} [Stan Terhune Collection] (2500/3500) SOLD FOR $4715.00
