serial #117044, .30 Army, 30" round No. 3 weight barrel with a bright excellent bore. This rifle was rebarreled with a factory mail-order barrel which bears both the Winchester proof as well as the mail-order proof, the action shows no proof. The barrel retains 97% original blue finish. The action which is equipped with a single set trigger retains 97% of an excellent quality restored blue finish. The checkered pistol grip buttstock and forend are of beautifully figured walnut and rate excellent having been nicely refinished. The schnabel tip of forend has been slightly reshaped. Rifle is equipped with a globe target front, blank in rear slot and midrange vernier tang peep sights. A handsome deluxe High Wall sporting rifle.
