The action and locks are an even smooth gray patina with sliding safeties showing a good deal of original fire blue. The checkered pistol grip buttstock and splinter forend are of beautifully figured walnut and rate excellent having been nicely refinished and featuring a handsome shadowline cheekpiece. Bottom barrel rib and bottom of butt are equipped with original sling eyes. Rifle features original low-profile beaded blade front sight and flip up express rear sights graduated for 100, 150 & 200 yards.
