serial #1006062, 218 Bee, 24" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces on this 1940s manufactured rifle retain 97-98% original blue finish. The checkered steel buttplate has a grayish brown color overall. The capped and checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and semi-beavertail style forend rate near excellent with light handling marks and 98% original finish remaining. The buttstock is slightly oversized along the rear most portions of both tangs. This rifle is equipped with a hooded front sight, standard sporting leaf rear sight, and riding bolt peep sight.
