(NSN), 225 Win, 26" medium weight barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel retains about 99% nice rust blue finish, the thick sided high wall action shows 99% plus lovely vivid restored case colors. The gun is stocked in a nice grade of English walnut and features a contrasting rosewood forend tip with a wraparound borderless checkering pattern on the forend and dual checkered panels on the pistol grip. The butt wears a checkered Niedner style crescent plate and the pistol grip cap is checkered steel as well, there is an unengraved oval silver monogram plate along the toeline, wood rates excellent. Gun is equipped with a single set trigger. The barrel is drilled and tapped for scope bases, European-style rings mount a Zeiss 8X Zielacht rifle scope with fine dot reticle and very good plus optics.
