serial #342124, 357 magnum, 6" barrel with an as-new bore. The metal surfaces on this nice round butt revolver retain about 99% original blue finish, the loss being some very light high edge and slight muzzlewear. The sides of the hammer are bright and unstained. The checkered walnut Rampant Colt grips are as-new. Lock up is tight. There are a couple very very light oxidation stains on the frame's right side but they are very unobtrusive. The guns forcing cone is still bright. There is a very light rotation ring on the cylinder. Overall a lovely 357 shooting master manufactured in 1937. (1996-7) {C&R} (4000/6000) SOLD FOR $4025.00 |
