serial #54775, 30 WCF, 22" round barrel with a very good bore that shows just a little scattered light corrosion. This rifle has lots of features including fancy checkered pistol grip stocks, hard rubber shotgun buttplate, takedown, extra light, half magazine and oil finished stocks. The condition of the rifle is quite nice as well with the barrel and magazine retaining about 60% evenly thinning original blue finish which is blending with a pleasing smooth gray brown patina. The action retains 90% plus strong original blue with a very unfortunate pair of holes on left side for a receiver sight. The fancy walnut stocks retain about 75% of their original oil finish. The original checkered hard rubber shotgun buttplate rates about excellent. Rifle is equipped with a beaded blade front sight and semi-flat top rear sight. Factory records confirm the configuration and show shipment on June 20, 1899. A fine 1894 deluxe rifle with lots of features.
