serial #127332, 45-70, 26" octagon barrel with full magazine and an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine retain about 95% original blue finish. The action retains 90% original blue with loss due to just a little very light flaking were metal has turned to a pleasing smooth brown patina. Case color on hammer and lever remains quite strong. The plain walnut stocks rate about very good, the forend retains 95% original finish with just a few light handling marks and the buttstock has thin sliver missing at either side of action tang. It appears that the very end of the butt was wet at some point, has darkened slightly and buttplate shows pitting; this is not overly obtrusive.
