Fine Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle

serial #97852, 40-65 WCF, 26" octagon barrel with full magazine and a bright excellent bore. This is a standard configuration rifle which is in fabulous condition. The barrel and magazine retain about 95% original blue with the loss being some patchy spots on forward third of barrel. The action retains 95% vivid original case color. The hammer, lever and forend cap retain most of their original color which remains generally vivid. The bolt retains 98% original blue. The walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with virtually all of their original finish and just a couple light handling marks. Rifle is fitted with original open sporting sights.
