serial #9304, 20 bore, 26" barrels are nitro proofed with 2 3/4" chambers and have mirror bores. The barrels have an inside diameter of .615" and choke constrictions of .013" and .017". This mid 60's production shotgun remains in superb, near new condition. Shotgun features cocking indicators, single trigger, assisted opening, rolled triggerguard and automatic safety. The action and locks feature full coverage rose and scroll engraving with "BOSS & Co." engraved on each lock. The barrels are engraved "BOSS & Co." on right and "13/14. CORK STREET. LONDON. W.1." on left. The triggerguard, opening lever, safety switch and exposed forend metal all feature tight full coverage scroll engraving. The barrels retain 99% strong original blue finish. The action and locks retain 98% brilliant original color case hardened finish. Top lever and triggerguard retain 95% original blue with just a little thinning on inside of pistol grip. Rear half of safety switch is a light gray color with the forward half retaining strong fire blue. Shotgun is equipped with checkered half pistol grip buttstock and splinter forend which are of English walnut exhibiting lovely figure. The stocks rate excellent with 98% of their original hand rubbed oil finish remaining and with strong, crisp checkering. Shotgun weighs 5 lbs. 10 oz. and has a 14 5/8" length of pull with drops of 1 3/8" and 2 3/8". Current replacement value for the shotgun is in excess of $107,000.
