Remington Rolling Block Long-Range "Creedmoor" Target Rifle

serial #5985, 44 2 7/16, 34 1/4" part round part octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore that shows just a couple small patches of surface oxidation ahead of chamber. This rifle is in very fine condition. The barrel retains 70% original blue finish which is blending with a pleasing smooth brown patina. The action retains 90% original case color which has softened slightly over time. The checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock and forend rate excellent with 90% original finish remaining on buttstock and perhaps 60% on forend. Rifle is equipped with a windgauge front sight with spirit level and original long-range vernier tang peep sight. Rifle is accompanied by Mr. Day's pocket notebook with loading data, cartridge cases and a target shot by Mr. Day.
