The metal surfaces on this finely made rifle retain about 99% factory blue finish, the barrel being a polished blue, the receiver matted. The classic style English walnut stock features a flared, shadowline cheekpiece. The stock rates excellent with only a small handful of very minor dings and dents from light use. The stock is embellished with an ebony forend tip, a nice wrap-around forend checkering pattern and panel-checkered pistol grip. Other amenities include a blued steel pistol grip cap, Talley style swivels and a solid red Kimber rifle pad. The receiver features integral milled Kimber scope bases.
